In this piece, I’ve overlayed two ideas: the line graphs from my first two years as an artist are in the background in shades of mauve. In the foreground, a tangle of lisianthks blooms, one of my favorite flowers. These blooms come from southern climates and can carry a meaning of gratitude — perfect for a thank-you bouquet. I’m grateful for the ups and the downs in the way this painting adventure has helped me grow.
