This piece is inspired by a delivery of Foxglove blooms I received in May. These trumpet-y flowers blew my mind, with their delicate yet sturdy tiny cylindars clustered around steady stems. The mauve-y purple color works perfectly with an ivory and blue vase, against an olive green tablescape. The painting continues onto the frame. The frame is simply detailed, with a dotted border accent This piece has a secret on the back -- the original artwork from when I thrifted the piece!
